A heat map shows the spread of COVID-19 in Davidson County

Nashville Public Health officials on Tuesday released the latest heat map showing the concentration of COVID-19 cases by neighborhood with a warning from Mayor John Cooper.

The virus, he said, has “now spread to other parts of the county, including our downtown core.”

Southeast Nashville, including the zip codes 37013, 37221, continues to have the biggest share of the city’s coronavirus cases. Madison, zip code 37115, has also been a hotspot for weeks.

But zip codes in downtown Nashville, are emerging as new hotspots. Positive cases are tied to an individuals residence.

Here is a zip code by zip code breakdown in the number of cases.
